This tragedy of Afganistan has begun more than 32 years ago . Millions of Afganistan people have been killed. How long do you think this stupidity will last ?

Heroina dar si hasis. Astazi nu intrebam de petrol (Sâmbătă, 16 ianuarie 2010, 14:07)

    Mako [anonim]

    mike [anonim]

Mr. Miliband - can you answer a few very simply questions?

Why BBC, in all report about Afgan war is mentioning only British and US troops?

More than this, whenever there is a causuality amongst the troops, it is imediatelly mentioned when is "ours" and forgoten when is "ours allies".

A few weeks ago, comenting about the looses in the last period, the BBC presenter said something like "looks like we wear all the grunt work in this war, compared with our allies".

Means Romanian troops are just good to fight and be forgoten?

By the way !!! Tell BBC to present also some nice stories about Romania. Not only the gipsys houses and the abandoned kids.

Do they know Romanian soldiers fight in Afganistan?
Do they know Romanians die there?????

Don't tell me about independent press :))

Imi amintesc bine ca in 2003 ONU a votat impotriva acestei invazii!

The strategy for Afganistan (Marţi, 19 ianuarie 2010, 10:30)

    Casargoz [anonim]

The Afghanistan is "Islamic Republic". The international force is enforcing an Islamic state. How a religious government, code of law, and institution will contribute to stability and democracy. In Afghanistan, no law can be contrary to the beliefs and provisions of the sacred religion of Islam. In november 2009 an Afghan asylum seeker has wins the right to stay in Britain after converting to Christianity. What are the liberties that UK, US and their allies defend in Afganistan, the liberties the talibans were fought for, or the liberties of innocent children and women left with no choice in the front of an Islamic state?
The apostasy is also a mortal sin in Christianity, but the punishment was left to God not in the hand of people. Why we defend a system which is a medieval one. Where is the modernization of Afganistan, and after the troops will withdraw what kind of state will be there? How an islamic state will contribute to stability of the region. Instead of one Iran, we will have two?

Is there an end to the war in Afghanistan? (Miercuri, 20 ianuarie 2010, 9:09)

    Laurie [anonim]

    Dear Mr. Miliband,
There is no doubt that the war started against Afghanistan was a just war. The Taliban government allowed Al-Qaeda to run training camps on Afghan territory and refused to cease doing so when asked by the US government, so it was only legitimate that the US should try to oust the Taliban.
On the other hand Al-Qaeda is almost non-existent in Afghanistan at the moment and the war has been lasting for 9 years (longer than WWII!).
How long is the British government ready to pour money into a war that doesn't seem to be necessary any more?
Is it so difficult to understand that, at least nowadays and for a power as superior as the US Army, an insurgency/guerrilla war is more difficult than a conventional war? Wouldn't it be more reasonable to declare victory and leave a couple of bases only for local, emergency strikes?
Do you really believe Afghanistan can become a democracy within a reasonable span of time?
To me it seems so much waste for so little return ... If poiliticians were also economists ...

    Dear Mr. Miliband,

How do you feel about Romanians fighting along with your troops, buying overpriced frigates from the British (via the infamous BAe and at no substantial profit for the British taxpayers) but having the right to work in the UK restricted? You can imagine how we feel.
