New A/H1N1 confirmed case in Iasi, North Romania

Romanian authorities confirmed a new A/H1N1 case in Iasi, North Romania in a child from a local social center which received the visit of the British group who came in Romania for a social project. Four of the group members were confirmed to have the virus a few days after they arrived in Romania.

Currently, the child is hospitalized at the Infectious Disease Institute in Iasi and is undergoing treatment. Sanitary authorities are currently testing all those whom might have entered into contact with the little boy.

Romania's confirmed A/H1N1 cases increased to 36.
