Democrat-liberalul George Scripcaru a fost ales primar pentru al treilea mandat, dupa ce peste 55.416 brasoveni l-au votat, in timp ce reprezentantul USL, Catalin Leonte, a primit 49.531 de voturi, o diferenta de 5.885 de voturi.
Pe locurile urmatoare s-au clasat Cristian Macedonschi (Forumul Democrat al Germanilor din Romania - 6.304 voturi), Ovidiu Fodor (PP-DD - 5.794 de voturi), Ambrus Caroly (UDMR) - 3.854 voturi, Radu Miron (Partidul Romania Mare - 1.228 de voturi), Munteanu Gheorghe (Partidul Poporului - 478), Solovici Adrian (PNCTD - 463 de voturi), Popa Ovidiu (Partidul Socialist Roman - 275 de voturi).
In Consiliul Local Brasov, USL are 12 mandate, PDL - 9 mandate, UDMR - 2 mandate, PP-DD - 2 si Forumul Democrat al Germanilor din Romania - 2.
Totalul voturilor exprimate a fost 123.345, al buletinelor anulate/neintrebuintate - 169.162, iar al voturilor nule - 2.969.
