2.Business Class for railroad travel The Romanian Railroad Company (CFR) introduce in December the Business class for trains that travel long distances. Seats will be equipped with a 51 cm screen, wireless access to the Internet and a refrigerator for a minibar.
3.Integration Ministry to become Regional Development Ministry Romania Must absorb some 30 billion euros between 2007 and 2013, as its share of the post-accession funds. The authority to manage these funds is the current Integration Minster, which is about to transform, in 2007, into the Regional Development Ministry.Out of the total 30 billion euros, 1.5 billions must be spent in 2007.
4.A week without Agriculture Minister Liberals failed to find a replacement for the recently resigned Agriculture Minister, Gheorghe Flutur. A few names were spread via rumors: former Finance Minister Traian Decebal Remes, Bucharest Liberal branch president Ludovic Orban and the chief of the Agriculture Ministry, Alexandru Moisuc.
5.ID card enough to travel Europe Starting in 2007, Romanian citizens will be able to enter 22 European states using nothing but their ID cards. The decision was made public on Wednesday by the Interior minister, Vasile Blaga.
6.Frozen Brussels - Turkey accession negotiations The European Commission demanded the 25 member states to suspend the accession negotiations with Turkey by freezing eight of the 35 negotiation chapters. The measure comes due to the continuing refusal of the Ankara authorities to allow Southern Cyprus ships and airplanes to arrive in Turkish ports and airports.
7.Roche Romania grows 30% Roche Romania reported for the third quarter sales worth over 25.8 million euros, some 30% increase, compared to Q3 in 2005. The total business during the first nine months was over 71 million euros.
8.Electricity price grows 5% Starting this Friday, the domestic electricity consumers will pay some 5% more for their consumption as a result of the combined increasing price in natural gas and low Danube flow that influenced the hydro power production.
9.Cioroianu vice president for European Liberals The Romanian Liberal Euro Observer, Adrian Cioroianu, was elected on Wednesday as vice president of the Democrat - Liberal group (ALDE) in the European Parliament. The ALDE group elected its new leadership for the following 30 months, and chose Graham Watson as president with a large majority.
10.NATO quarrel on Afghanistan The disputes within the North-Atlantic Organization opened once again at the latest summit in Riga, with the NATO leaders failing to reach an agreement on the Organization’s future involvement in Afghanistan.

Acesta a venit ieri in fieful “grupului de la Cluj” pentru a participa la Conferinta Extraordinara a organizatiei judetene, reuniune premergatoare Congresului partidului din 10 decembrie.
