7.Romania and Serbia talk economics, minority’s rights in Kosovo, Timoc The Serbian president Boris Tadic visited Bucharest on Tuesday and received his Romanian counterpart’s support regarding the current status quo of the Kosovo province. Romanian president Traian Basescu agrees Kososvo should not gain independence but also asks for the respect of rights for the Romanianan minority in the Timoc.

9.Hayssam fled country, General Prosecutor confirmed The Arab businessman charged with terrorism for kidnapping three Romanian journalists in Iraq fled the country, the General Prosecutor confirmed in a press release on Tuesday. The prosecutors will request an international search mandate from the Court of Appeal Bucharest.
10.Romanian PM hospitalized after motorbike accident Romanian prime minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu was hospitalized for a suspected broken leg shortly after he was involved in a motorbike accident near Bucharest late on Tuesday. A reputed biker, Tariceanu lost control over his motor and hit a car coming legally from the opposite direction on a road near Corbeanca, north of Bucharest.
