The heads of all three main such services resigned yesterday as a businessman charged with terrorism has gone missing. 2.Fugitive businessman Hayssam to be searched by Interpol Romanian businessman of Syrian descent Omar Hayssam, who’s been missing for two weeks despite being freed on temporary parole pending his trial under terrorism charges, will be searched internationally by Interpol. The Romanian Police announced it called for an international search not for the terrorism charges on Hayssam’s name, but for his attempt to dodge the Romanian justice.
3.Third Romanian wave of Romanian citizens returned from Lebanon Over 200 Romanian citizens living in Lebanon arrived in their home country by plane on Thursday night - the third such flight from the conflict-stricken Middle East. They arrived on the Bucharest Airport aboard three planes of the Romanian airline company Tarom.
4.Romania top prosecutor resigns in Hayssam case Romania’s top prosecutor Ilie Botos resigned on Friday in the case of businessman Omar Hayssam, placed on terrorism charges, but who has gone missing for two weeks, the Romanian Presidency announced today. Botos is the fourth top official in the country to submit his resignation to President Traian Basescu, after similar moves by the heads of the Romanian Intelligence Service - SRI, the Foreign Intelligence Service - SIE and the intelligence department of the Interior Ministry yesterday.

7.Liberals content with the collective resignations The Liberal Party expressed its content regarding the resignations of the heads of Romanian special services and of the General prosecutor, as they show hope for a real reform of the Justice system, according to PNL leader Calin Popescu Tariceanu. Other Liberals were more critical towards the former officers.
