Of the 100 personalities present in last year’s edition of the study, 95 appear in 2006 in Capital’s third such "chart".

6.Solar eclipse visible in Bucharest and on internet The fourth solar eclipse of this century is to be seen across four continents from South America to Central Asia on Wednesday and will be partially visible in Romania at 12:44, for approximately two hours and 25 minutes when the Moon will cover the Sun. For safety reasons, as an eclipse is quite dangerous for bare eyes, and for those that cannot watch it, NASA will for the fist time broadcast such an event on the internet.
7.Romania plays Chinese card too late Romanian President Traian Basescu has taken part in the opening session of the Romanian-Chinese Forum in Beijing. From the very beginning, Basescu encouraged the Chinese businessmen to invest in Romania, showing his dissatisfaction with the commercial deficits in his country's economic relations with Asia.
8.Credisson boasts 37% lending growth The Credisson company has announced it recorded a 37 percent growth in the first months of 2006, compared to the similar period last year. The lending volume granted by Credisson reached 30 mln Euros in the first three months of this year, mostly due to the development of the consumer lending segment, of the national selling network and of the innovation in financial services.
9.State secretary charged with corruption in relocation scandal The National Anti-Corruption Directorate charged with corruption and abuse of office a state secretary responsible with mining issues within the Economy Ministry, along with other mining union leaders. The charges relate to the purchase of residences bellow the market price from the people to be relocated due to mining works.

Putini stiu ca sute de astfel de exemplare au fost mutate, in ultimii ani, intre Bucuresti si Ilfov, iar unii dintre edili chiar le-au eutanasiat cu substante de stropit porumbul, animalele murind in chinuri.
